All about our School

Havergal is a church school that values standards and achievements.

Achievements and standards at Havergal are good and the end of Key Stage 2 results are particularly pleasing. Most of our children achieve the expected level (4) and many achieve beyond this.

We are extremely proud of all that goes on here, "The school is a happy and calm place where pupils have a lot of fun learning and discovering new skills" Ofsted 2008

The children at Havergal are well supported in their learning. "Teachers are skilled at bringing out the best in their pupils." Ofsted 2008. We are fortunate in having a valued team of teaching assistants who support the teaching and learning here.

The pupils at Havergal are a delight. Their behaviour is exemplary, they have good attitudes to learning and they care about each other and the school.

We are fortunate to have supportive parents. At Havergal, we see the process of educating a child as a partnership and we value parent's support throughout the time their child is here.

The govening body is enthusiastic and supportive and meets regularly to ensure the work of the school is monitored. More information on the govening body is on the web pages.
